I think I didn’t need it to be in the news to know it. In addition to the CEO’s body shaming and self esteem slashing, the company also discriminates against the physically disabled.

I’ve never given a penny to that company, and I never will.
Because telling fat people that they are in fact humans that deserve dignity and respect automatically means you’re ~*GLORIFYING OBESITY*~
By the way, don’t dribble on to me saying you worry about a fat person’s ‘health’. That’s just a bullshit excuse to voice your unwanted opinion on a fat person’s body considering you wouldn’t give a single flying fuckadoodle about someone’s health if they were skinny. Besides another person’s health is none of your damned business anyway. Run along now and preach to a choir that actually cares.
I’m going to be honest, so long as you’re not hurting anyone, you can eat soy sauce and milk duds all day long for all I care.
thank you so much for this comic imp.this is all sorts of amazin

Thank you! I wish I knew who you were. This was the only birthday message I got yesterday. <3

In today’s video, I talk about what excess skin is like, and I show the excess skin on my body 3 years after gastric bypass RNY surgery. Excess skin like this usually only happens after rapid massive weight loss, so don’t panic that you’ll get this after dropping 20lbs.
This video is not meant to debate the merits of gastric bypass. It’s not meant to be a plea for cash or pity. It is simply to show what I live with everyday. I get a lot of questions about it. A lot of staring and looks of disgust, too. But this is my body. And until I can save up ~$30,000 for the series of reconstructive surgeries this requires (very difficult while unemployed and paying off student loans), this is the body I have to live with. Insurance will not cover this for 99.9% of patients.
If you have any further questions, my ask box is open. (Sorry this video is so rushed. Tumblr has a 5 minute time limit, and I’m not putting this on another site.)
Happy birthday to me! Bumping to remind myself how far I’ve come. Maybe this year I’ll be able to start my surgeries. I’m 10% of the way there in my savings.
This is so beautiful.
No matter how long or fast you can run, no matter tall short, young, old, fat or stocky you are, if you run—you are a runner. A runner is made in the heart—not from your physical appearance or fitness level.
As a stocky and short cross country runner who’s had more than her fair share of defeats, I appreciate this to no end. Thank you, thank you so much.

The moment I get home from work:

I keep seeing too many people complain about having big thighs and being fat or skinny so I made these!
Encouraging Zangief!
