This… omg… so much emotional trauma. Why the fuck would people ever do this to someone? Thanks to the ridicule of others via taunts like this for the vast majority of my life, I basically have no concept of how to interact when somebody genuinely likes me. I just kind of roll my eyes and shy away because the opportunity to develop the proper social skills for this was stripped away from me. And I kinda need a cathartic cry right now, but I’m at work.

And for those who have no idea what I’m talking about:

For girls and boys like myself who were fat in their schooling years, other kids would come up to us individually or in small groups, either pretending to want to go out with you or using the “timeless” line, “Hey, my friend has a crush on you,” as the other friends stand in the background and laugh their asses off, anxious to see you get your hopes up. It’s a fucking sociopathic act is what it is.
