My name is Risa. I'm 24 years old and live in Boca Raton, Florida. I have battled with my weight since I was about 6 years old, and for the last couple years, I was finally winning the fight. But I slipped, gaining back 36lbs from my lowest weight in ages. Now I'm buckling down again to shed the weight so I can look on the outside the way I feel on the inside. I find it really stupid of someone when they think that they have to burn ALL the calories that they just ate/drank so they don’t gain weight.

Calories that AFFECT fat?! Where the fuck did you get your nutritional education? Calories from fat are the calories derived from the grams of fat. Calories come from protein, fat, and carbohydrates. A gram of protein provides about for calories, fat 9 calories, and carbohydrates 4 calories. A calorie the quantity of energy needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water through 1&#160;°C. These types of calories don&#8217;t affect the body any differently than other types of calories, but the components of fat itself can have negative effects when consumed in excess.
