My name is Risa. I'm 24 years old and live in Boca Raton, Florida. I have battled with my weight since I was about 6 years old, and for the last couple years, I was finally winning the fight. But I slipped, gaining back 36lbs from my lowest weight in ages. Now I'm buckling down again to shed the weight so I can look on the outside the way I feel on the inside. But the road isn't always straight and smooth. For more information on my life-long weight loss journey, please view my first post here. This blog exists for me, to keep me on track and motivated. No Weigh May

Decided this makes sense for me. Last time I did a no-weigh month, I lost 5lbs. But I had a goal, reward and consequence in place back then.

No Weigh May Goal: 200lbs or lower. Total loss of 7lbs+

No Weigh May Reward for reaching goal: Disney Animator’s Doll or Merida Toddler Doll (Seriously, they look the same, but they’re not considered the same collection. Gorgeous either way.)

No Weigh May Consequence for gaining weight or losing less than 3lbs: give away 2 pairs of boots (I’m a boot addict, so that’s a big deal.)

Anything that falls between the consequence and reward zone is neutral.

I will weigh on June 1st 2012. Diet. Book. Workouts.
