My name is Risa. I'm 24 years old and live in Boca Raton, Florida. I have battled with my weight since I was about 6 years old, and for the last couple years, I was finally winning the fight. But I slipped, gaining back 36lbs from my lowest weight in ages. Now I'm buckling down again to shed the weight so I can look on the outside the way I feel on the inside. Nadina Knight, 24, went down four dress sizes as she transformed her 15 stone frame into that of a svelte beauty pageant winner. The pretty model lost the weight after she saw her 21st birthday party pictures and realised that she had ballooned in size since she went to university. Distraught Nadia abandoned her student diet of takeaways and hit the gym with striking results. After she shed the stones, Nadia started modelling and was named Miss Northampton in March. Now, she is hoping to be crowned Miss England in this month’s national finals. Nadina said her success was due to hard work and determination which she used to drop from 15 stone to 10.
