My name is Risa. I'm 23 years old and live in Boca Raton, Florida. I have battled with my weight since I was about 6 years old, and for the last couple years, I was finally winning the fight. But I slipped, gaining back 36lbs from my lowest weight in ages. Now I'm buckling down again to shed the weight so I can look on the outside the way I feel on the inside. But the road isn't always straight and smooth. For more information on my life-long weight loss journey, please view my first post here. This blog exists for me, to keep me on track and motivated. Damn! I was just thinking a couple of days ago that I should ask you how you'd celebrate getting under 200 pounds again (huge congrats on that, by the way). But then I wasn't sure if you'd already passed it, and I didn't want to seem stupid, so I didn't. Soooo, how are you going to celebrate it? I can just imagine you and Mitch (when you're back in Florida, obviously) squealing while holding hands and jumping up and down. :)

Well, fortunately for me, this happened to fall on my treat day. I make Saturdays my treat days because I know I’m going to be out late teching for Rocky Horror, and that can really limit food options. So today I treated myself with my monthly free piece of Godiva chocolate. I don’t want to relax too much, though, or it’ll be like last time where I broke 200 then went right back up. So I’m still sticking with my healthy foods and lean choices, and I’m making sure to stay hydrated. I’ll truly celebrate once I get back into the 180s. Then I’ll know I’m making real progress. :)
