The one thing that make him different from everyone else?

That’s the thing. There isn’t just “one thing” that makes him different. We connect like nobody else because we think and feel and act like nobody else. He knows where I’ve been, and I know where he’s been. We walk in each other’s shoes without even trying. And we can see the beauty in one another, the incredible rarity of such a combination of personal traits that makes each of us and us together so unique. He shares my sense of dedication, compassion, passion, and thirst for knowledge. And yet, we balance each other. I’m right brain, he is left. When I’m weak, he’s strong, and visa versa. He makes me feel safe, and he draws from me the courage to take risks. We are a perfect balance. And I’ve never found that with any other being on this earth.

Your favorite thing about him?

It’s impossible for me to pick one, so I’m just going to go with the first one I think of. His selflessness. He will do anything to help those he cares about, and even strangers. Even at his own expense. He is such a giver, and it is so incredibly sweet and admirable.

As far as I know, they like him. A few have even told him they’re jealous of him. hehehe

Ways you have changed since the begining of your relationship?

I have my natural hair color back, for one. The first 3 months we were together, I had purple hair.

I’ve also been diagnosed with a few things since we first got together, too. Like my Fowler’s Syndrome and my Panic Disorder. But Mitch has always been there to support me, and it’s really helped me to get through rough times. I don’t think my personality has really changed much. But you tend not to notice changes like that until years later. Overall, I’m much happier having Mitch in my life. I feel complete. I feel like I have more hope for the future. I think I smile more than I used to. And I find myself thinking about starting a family more than I ever have before. Everything’s simply… good.

How long have you been together?

7 months, 5 days, and approximately 17 hours. We mark our anniversary as New Year’s 2012 Eastern Standard Time. Of course, we’ve known each other for much longer. With a gap in the middle, but nonetheless. I wouldn’t trade a single second with him for the world.

What do you two do together?

These questions are so broad. We do what we can together. Pretty much anything other than going to the bathroom can be done together. If there’s something we want to do and the ability exists to do it together, we do it. I really don’t know what more to say to this one.

A movie that is special to your relationship?

We watched this movie together on our first date, We’ve watched it together dozens of times since. And we’re both in shadow casts. Rocky holds a special place in our hearts and our relationship.

What do you imagine your future with him to be?

Start business together —> move in together —> get a pet —> marriage —> babies —> grow old —> die happy —> drift through eternity together.

When do you feel closest to him?

Now that’s a toughie. Sometimes it’s when we talk about our future together because we want exactly the same things. Sometimes it’s when he holds me in his arms and just strokes my hair. But I think overall, I feel closest to him every time he makes me laugh because his sense of humor is a rare kind that always hits straight in the center of my heart and makes my body, mind, and spirit light up with joy.

A special memory?

Any memory with Mitch is special to me. It’s hard to pick just one. I guess one of the moments that really shines in my mind was when I pulled up to the airport and saw him standing there waiting for me with a smile. We held hands the whole drive back, kissing at every stoplight. I can’t wait to pick him up again a week from today.

Upcoming plans you have together?

Picking him up from the airport the morning of August 8th. Then we’re going to pack up my room together, fly back to Florida, and spend the rest of our lives together.
